This memento contains complete rosters for all nine teams that played Japan Pro Baseball during the Fall 1938 season. Names such as Victor Starffin and "Bucky" Harris McGalliard appear on the roster lists. Lineups for two games are filled in using red pen. One game between the Giants and Chunichi features Victor Starffin (HOF) (Russia) on the mound, with Hall of Famers Tetsuharu Kawakami at first base, Osamu Mihara at second, Shigeru Chiba at third and Katsumi Shiraishi at short. What a spectacular infield! Plus, HOFer Haruyasu Nakajima in the outfield. The other game (Giants vs. Eagles) has pretty much the same star studded Giants lineup, but with HOFer Shigeru Mizuhara playing as well. The Eagles lineup includes McGalliard. This is a fragile piece, and very few pro scorecards from this era have survived to the present day.
