After the victorious U.S. All Stars left Japan, before returning to the United States, they made a stop in Shanghai, and then a final trip to Manila, where they faced local opposition in three games on December 9th and 10th. The Major Leaguers won all three games easily, with Hall of Famers Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Earl Averill and Charlie Gehringer all homering. This program emanates from the trio of games played in Manila, and is much scarcer than the more commonly seen program for the Japanese games. One benefit to this program, is that unlike the Japanese 1934 Tour program, it is printed in English. There are photo stories for every U.S. player, including Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Averill, Gehringer, Gomez, etc. Interestingly, there are also photos and thumbnail bios of the Philippine opposition. Roster pages and scorecards are also included. At 52 pages, this program is much larger than many other programs of the era. No collection of 1934 Tour memorabilia is complete without mementoes from the Philippine leg of the journey.

Size: 6" x 9"

Condition: There is scotch tape and some chips on the cover. The inside pages are nice.
