This is the largest accumulation of "cards" from this scarce set that we have ever handled. Made of tin, every card front contains a black and white headshot, player surname and position written in Japanese and the player's team logo. Players from six different teams are represented in this lot. It is unknown whether all 12 teams are represented in this set. There are three duplicate cards in this lot. Hall of Fame/Golden Players included are Wally Yonamine (Hawaii), Shigeo Nagashima, Masaichi Kaneda, Sachio Kinugasa, Yutaka Enatsu, Choji Murata (2), Koji Yamamoto, Shinichi Eto, Taira Fujita, Yoshiro Sotokoba, Yoshio Yoshida, Senichi Hoshino and Isao Shibata. Other Americans include Gene Martin, Bobby Taylor, Jim LeFebvre and Don Buford.
Size: Each card is approximately 7/8" x 1 1/2".
Condition: Cards have some enamel loss on the high points on the front and several exhibit minor surface cracking.
