Eishiro Yoshie was born in 1922 in Vancouver, Canada. He went to high school in Japan and participated in the National High School Baseball Championships at Koshien. He then moved on to Waseda U., where he was a student athlete during the war years of the early 1940s. After graduation, he played in Japan amateur baseball, until joining Japan Pro Baseball in 1948. From 1948-1950, Yoshie, a pitcher, played for three different teams in Japan Pro Baseball, finishing his career with the Yomiuri Giants. He died in 1986 at the age of 63. On this large sized, blank backed card, Yoshie is seen as a member of the Yomiuri Giants.
