Airplane diecut menko of Victor Starffin have always been hugely popular with collectors of Japanese cards. This uncatalogued, rarely seen card depicts the big Russian righthander as a member of the Robins, a team he played for only in 1947 and 1948. Starffin's team, name and position are printed on the back in Japanese text on the front portion of the aircraft.
