These two cards, both with the same image and text, were produced by the Hinomaru company. The JBR 35a card is previously uncatalogued. The large colorized premium card has never been seen in the hobby before now. Both feature Hall of Famers Hiroshi Oshita and Henry Tadashi "Bozo" Wakabayashi. Oshita (left) was the rival of Tetsuharu Kawakami in the battle to determine the greatest Japan Pro Baseball batter of the 1940s and 1950s. Wakabayashi (right), the first American member of the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame, was a pitching star for the Tigers and Orions, and also was a member of the Japanese all star squad that faced Lou Gehrig, Lefty Grove, etc. during the 1931 U.S. Major League All Stars Tour of Japan. Both cards are blank backed.

Size: The JBR 35a, Type 1 card is 2 1/2" x 1 5/8". The Uncatalogued color card is 5 7/8" x 4

Condition: The JBR 35a Type1 card is Vg to Ex. The Uncatalogued color card has extra paper across the top on the reverse because of previous attachment to a display sheet. It also has a number of red marks on the blank back. The front has an Ex/Mt to Nm appearance.
