The eight Japan Hall of Famers included in this lot are Victor Starffin, Tetsuharu Kawakami (rookie), Henry "Bozo" Wakabayashi (Hawaii), Hisanori Karita, Jiro Noguchi (rookie), Kazuto Tsuruoka (Yamamoto) (rookie) and Noboru Aota (rookie). This is one of the few early sets in which the player names are printed in English on the cards (albeit with occasionally faulty spelling).
