All three first edition books offered here feature large, high grade autographs of Japan Hall of Fame members in black marker.

Takehiko Bessho (1922-1999) was Japan's premier pitcher during the late 1940s and early 1950s. He twice won 30 or more games in a season, baffling hitters with a variety of off speed deliveries. During his career, he won two MVP awards and two Sawamura (Japanese Cy Young) Awards. His 310 victories combined with a lifetime ERA of only 2.18 puts him in the company of the world's greatest all time pitchers.

Another of the all time pitching greats is Kazuhisa Inao (1937-2007). Inao won a Japan record 42 games in a season. He also won over 30 games on three other occasions. His lifetime ERA is a phenomenal 1.98.

Yoshio Yoshida (b.1933) played for the Hanshin Tigers from 1953 to 1969, and then managed the team at various times during the 1970s, 80s and 90s. He was considered to be the premier defensive shortstop of his era. He wasn't too bad offensively either, averaging .267 lifetime with 350 stolen bases.

All three books are written in Japanese. All are first editions. The Bessho book is first edition, second printing. The other two books are first edition, first printing. The Bessho book was published in 1990, the Inao book in 1993, and the Yoshida book in 1994.

Size: All books are 5 1/2" x 7 1/2". Bessho--270 pages. Inao--336 pages. Yoshida--252 pages.

Condition: The autographs grade 9 or 10 out of 10. The books are in Nm condition.
