Lefty O'Doul, manager of the San Francisco Seals and Japan Hall of Fame member, brought his team to Japan in 1949 to play 12 games against various opposition. This ticket stub is for the game played on October 21st at Nishinomiya Stadium in Osaka. The Seals defeated the All West team 3-1. Tadashi "Bozo" Wakabayashi, the Hawaiian star of the Osaka Tigers and future Hall of Fame member, pitched in relief for the Japanese squad that day.
