This is the only known card of Japan Hall of Famer, Saburo Yokozawa. Yokozawa attended Meiji University and later became an umpire in both the Big Six University League as well as the Japan Professional League. Yokozawa also managed the Tokyo Senators for a total of three seasons before World War II. He was inducted into the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1988. According to the Japanese Baseball Checklist and Price Guide, Vintage Edition, this card has a scarcity factor of R4 meaning that fewer than 10 copies are known.
