For years, the 1929 Nichieido Seika set was thought to consist of 38 cards. Well, everyone was wrong! We have recently discovered a new addition to the set, menko number 652, Katsunobu Inoue of Tokyo Imperial University. Although the other five Big Six University institutions are well represented in this set, Inoue is the only member of Tokyo Imperial U. to be included. And Inoue's inclusion is a true mystery, as he was far from a star player. In fact, we know that he actually played for Tokyo in only a few games in 1930 and none in 1929, the set's year of issue! Furthermore, in 1930, he had a league worst fielding percentage for second basemen, an incredibly terrible .778! Despite this ignominy, Inoue is the rarest card in a rare set. If you are working on this set, or if you would like to add a player from Tokyo Imperial U. to your collection, this card is a must. Additionally, the card is pack (taba) fresh.
