Cards from the ultra rare Marui Decorative Bromide w/Small Image set had been seen only very very occasionally until we discovered several unopened tabas quite recently. This discovery affords the collector the rare opportunity to acquire high grade versions of a number of Japan Hall of Fame members. Hiroshi Oshita was the rival to the great Giants first baseman, Tetsuharu Kawakami. While Kawakami was known for his controlled demeanor and red bat, Oshita was equally famous for his blue bat and sordid off-the-field behavior. While his teams never reached the heights of Kawakami's teams, Oshita's personal statistics were comparable. He was a career .303 hitter who was selected to seven Best Nine teams, won three batting titles and one MVP award. Blank backed.
