According to the handwriting on the back, this image was taken at the 1930 Far East Baseball Championships on May 25, 1930, when the All Japan team played the Philippines. The game was played at Jingu Stadium and won by the All Japan team by a score of 10-4. Hall of Famer Saburo Miyatake (upper left) was the winning pitcher. The Japan team that day was composed mostly of Keio University players, with several other Tokyo Big Six University players as well. Other players on the card are Hall of Famer Minoru Yamashita (upper right) and Keio U. catcher Okada (lower right). The player at lower left is unidentified. The card was actually mailed and used as a postcard, but it was most likely actually a bromide baseball card, as the back is not printed as a postcard.
