A member of the Washington Senators, Earl Whitehill was the winningest pitcher on the 1934 All Star Tour of Japan with six wins and a 1.41 ERA. On the Tour, Whitehill played in a total of nine games and had the highest batting average of any player, batting .458! Only two examples of this card are known to exist. This specimen was originally offered in our November 2007 auction. Blank backed.
