Of the several bromide sets in this general style that Marutoku produced in 1950 and 1951, these are less rectangular and more square in shape than the other issues. There are most likely 60 cards in a complete set, however only 57 different have been discovered to date. Japan Hall of Fame members in this lot include--(top row, left to right) Tetsuharu Kawakami (first two images), Shigeru Chiba, Makoto Kozuru, Yasuyuki Iwamoto, (second row, left to right) Kaoru Betto, Fumio Fujimura, Shigeru Sugishita, Katsumi Shiraishi, Junzo Sekine, (third row, left to right) Hiroshi Oshita and Noboru Aota. The non-HOFers are (starting with third row center, left to right) Junji Nakatani, Katsushiro Tokura, Hiroshi Tsujii, (fourth row, left to right) Eikichi Nagamochi, Yasuo Yonekawa, Takumi Otomo, Mitsuo Uno, Yasuo Kusunoki (fifth row, left to right) Hiroshi Kaneyoshi, Shoji Arakawa, Shigeru Iijima, Zenzo Ikeda, Ryohei Moriya, (sixth row, left to right) Takao Fujimura, Hiroyuki Watanabe. Blank backed.

Size: Each card is 1 7/8" x 2 3/8".
