In the late 1980s, a group of Marusan bromides were discovered in Japan and quickly absorbed by the hobby. At the time, Japanese baseball card collecting was in its infancy, and it was not recognized that these cards are hard to find. Since that initial "find", no large accumulations of Marusan bromides have ever been seen. One Japan Hall of Fame member, Ryohei Hasegawa, is part of this lot. The other players are: Carp-Oishi, Nishiyama; Tigers-Fujimoto, Fujii; Whales-Mori, Kuroki; Lions-Kido, Tanaka; Flyers-Saionji, Iwashita; Hawks-Horigomi. Marusan bromides are considerably larger than "tobacco" style menko, and the photography is quite good. Blank backed.
Size: Each card is 2 1/8" x 3 15/32".
Condition: All cards are Ex/Mt or better.
