Lot Description  

These cards were originally found in six, ten card sheets in the September 1948 edition of Yakyu Shonen magazine. The cards are printed on pulp stock, and the photos are of poor newsprint quality. The 20 HOFers in this set are Hiroshi Oshita, Makoto Kozuru, Hisanori Karita, Katsumi Shiraishi, Shigeru Chiba, Tetsuharu Kawakami, Hideo Fujimoto, Hiroshi Nakao, Takehiko Bessho, Tokuji Iida, Kazuto Tsuruoka, Juzo Sanada, Michinori Tsubouchi, Michio Nishizawa, Victor Starffin (Russia), Fumio Fujimura, Shosei Go (Taiwan), Kaoru Betto, Noboru Aota and Bozo Wakabayashi (Hawaii).
