Japanese newspaper companies traditionally advertised their product by producing large posters containing the day's headlines and photos. These posters were placed in glass display cases along busy streets and train stations. This particular image shows Lou Gehrig
warming up with some light boxing. The caption in English at the bottom reads: "Mr. R. (sic) Gehrig, a member of the New York Yankee team, making a warming up by light boxing."

Condition: Overall, this display grades Ex+, with pin holes in the corners and two other small holes on the right edge.
