Tachibana Seika cards are often found with the top portions cut off. This card is complete as originally issued. Moreover, the cards were often pasted to sheets which the collector sent in to claim a prize from the issuer, resulting in a high level of scarcity. This example
features Shigeo Nagashima of the Yomiuri Giants. The most popular Japanese player of all time, Nagashima is truly the original Mr. Baseball.
