This seldom seen card of the Bambino is his only known card produced by a Japanese confectionery company. Manufactured by Kabaya, a company best known for the classic 1967 Kabaya-Leaf set, this depiction of the Sultan of Swat was originally found as a premium in a caramel package. The collector needed to obtain 12 cards which could be exchanged for a book from the Kabaya book collection. Most likely, nearly all cards of this type were indeed exchanged and destroyed by the company, leaving very few examples in the hands of collectors. The back contains information about how to exchange the cards for a book of the collector's choice. This is truly a rare Babe Ruth card.

Size: 1 9/16" x 2 1/8"

Condition: Vg due to paper loss on front side.
