Shigeo Nagashima (HOF - Meikyukai) known as "Mr. Giants" is the most revered player in Japanese baseball history. Offered here is an official NPB (Japan Pro) baseball signed in person at his home in the Denenchofu section of Tokyo. Since suffering a stroke in 2004, Nagashima has been seen in public only rarely, and he signs very few autographs. The stroke affected the right side of his body including the use of his right hand. As a result, this ball was signed by Nagashima with his left hand and thus is quite unusual and rare. Along with his signature, this living legend added his trademark "number 3".
