Yoshida played for the Hanshin Tigers from 1953 to 1969, and then managed them at various times during the '70s, '80s, and '90s. He was considered to be the premier defensive shortstop of his era.
He wasn't too bad offensively either, averaging .267 lifetime with 350 stolen bases. During his career, he was selected to nine Best 9 teams. Signed in black marker along with his personal stamp.
