Beginning in early April 1959, Shukan Shonen Magazine (Weekly Youth) included an uncut three baseball card panel in each issue for approximately 10 consecutive weeks.
The April 30, 1959 issue features Hawaiian born Wally Yonamine (HOF), Yoshio Yoshida (HOF) and Shoichi Ono. There are a few small photos of a young rookie named Sadaharu Oh inside the magazine.
Tooru Mori of the Chunichi Dragons is featured on the cover.
