These cards resemble the unique design of the 1910 E125 American Caramel series produced in the United States. Furoku cards are quite collectible due to their scarcity.
A furoku is a card or collectible inserted into a magazine as a premium. The two cards offered here, Fumio Fujimura (HOF) and Hiroshi Oshita (HOF) are the only ones from this set known to exist.
The cards were a furoku from the July issue of Shonen Magazine. Each card has an easel type stand attached to the back which opens, allowing the card to stand-up. The forthcoming edition of the Japanese Baseball Card
Checklist & Price Guide lists a scarcity factor of R4 for this set, meaning that fewer than ten of these cards are known.
Size: 7" x 9".
Condition: Fujimura has part of the stand missing and paper loss on the front portion. Oshita has complete stand on back with minor damage near his left leg.
