Recently discovered, this set of five color round menko cards includes the only known baseball card of HOFer Tokichiro Ishii, shown as a member of the Waseda University team.
This is one of the few postwar sets that consists of Tokyo Big Six League university players, rather than Japan Pro Baseball stars. So, all of these cards are most likely rookie cards of the players depicted.
Others in the set are Junzo Sekine (HOF) Hosei University, Kunio Ando (Meiji University), Hidekazu Iwanaka (Keio University) and Kozo Goi (Rikkio University). Blank Backed.
