This relatively small card set contains many of the great players of the era. The military and space backs are quite unusual for a baseball issue. Two HOFer cards in this lot are uncatalogued and have just recently been discovered. These are the pink and blue background card of Kaneda (HOF), the card of Mihara (HOF). The complete list of Japan HOF members in the lot is as follows: Masaichi Kaneda (400 wins, 4,490 Ks) (2 diff.), Wally Yonamine (Hawaii), Takehiko Bessho (300 wins), Masaaki Koyama (320 wins), Osamu Mihara (Magic Manager), Futoshi Nakanishi, Michio Nishizawa, Hiroshi Oshita, Kenjiro Tamiya, Kazuto Tsuruoka, Kazuhiro Yamauchi (3 diff.) and Takao Kajimoto (w/Taneda). Others are Sakazaki-Giants, Munesue-Carp, Moroki-Orions, Katsuragi-Orions, Kawano-Braves, Ina-Dragons and Fujimoto-Tigers.
Size: Each card is 1 13/16" x 3".
Condition: Range-Good to Nm. Average-Ex. Kaneda cards are Nm and Ex/Mt. Mihara-Ex to Ex/Mt. Yonamine-Ex (hand cut).
