Lot Description  

This unique menko card features a Waseda Univerity batter and Hosei University catcher, along with a group of fans cheering. The back of the card features the names of Hosei University members. The list includes Henry "Bozo" Wakabayashi (HOF-Hawaii), Hidenosuke Shima (HOF), Hisanori Karita (HOF), Kura, Yano, Kubo, Fujii, Takeda, Yoshida and Otaki. Hosei University won their first championship in 1930.
