These very scarce cards were issued in uncut sheets within the pages of a boys magazine. Cards from this set have been seen on only a handful of occasions. According to the information on the backs, 100 cards of sports stars (various sports) were issued, but we believe that the number of different baseball player cards issued is less than 30. HOF/Golden players in this lot include Masaichi Kaneda (400 lifetime victories), Isao Harimoto (3,000 hits, 500 HR), Katsuya Nomura (657 HR), Tadashi Sugiura (2 diff.), Kazuhiro Yamauchi, Shinichi Eto, Kihachi Enomoto and Kenjiro Tamiya. Others include Naka, Mori and Kodama-Dragons, Sato and Kitagawa-Swallows, Katsuragi and Ono-Orions, Yamamoto-Flyers and Kuwata-Whales.

Condition: Range-Nearly all are Ex to Nm/Mt. Average-Nm. Harimoto is creased. Kaneda-Nm. Nomura-Nm.
