Until now, we thought that there were only three cards in the JBR 145 set, including one card of Shigeo Nagashima. Presented here for the first time is a previously unknown second Nagashima card. The other Nagashima card depicts him sitting with a bat. This one features Nagashima at bat in a batting cage. The JBR 145 set has been assigned a scarcity factor of R5 in Japanese Baseball Cards Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 3.0 by Gary Engel, because five or fewer examples are known of the other three cards. Obviously, this card is even more scarce.

Shigeo Nagashima's facsimile autograph graces the otherwise pure card front. The back contains a detailed roster of the 1964 Yomiuri Giants including each player's height, weight, school, home town, etc., etc. printed in Japanese.
