This is a second year card of Japan's most beloved player. Shigeo Nagashima (HOF) began his career with the Yomiuri Giants in 1958 and retired in 1974. He was inducted into the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1988 following a career in which he won the Central League MVP award five times and was voted to the league Best 9 team at third base every single year of his 17 year career.
