Tetsuharu Kawakami, Japan Pro Baseball's best hitter pre-Sadaharu Oh, signed this large bromide in purple ink. We believe that the card and autograph are from 1949. During that season, Kawakami (1920-2013) batted .330 with 24 home runs and 129 RBI, while playing in 134 games.
