One of the scarcest sets in the entire Japanese baseball card hobby is the 1960-61 set produced by Boken Oh (Adventure King) magazine. The set consists of seven cards issued in two series. This card is from Series B. The large size card contains a facsimile autograph of Nagashima at lower left. Nagashima's name and the team's name are printed in Japanese at upper right. "Boken Oh" is printed in Japanese at lower right. The Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 2.1 assigns a scarcity factor of R5 to this set, signifying that five or fewer copies of each card are known to the hobby.
This is only the second time that we have ever offered an example of this card. We have never had the opportunity to offer any of the other six cards in the set. This set is truly rare. This is your chance to own one of the scarcest cards ever produced of Mr. Giants. Blank backed.
