Over the years, we have offered nearly 400 different cards of Victor Starffin in our auctions. We have sold hundreds more privately. However, this is the first copy of this square sepia bromide that we have encountered. Starffin is seen here wearing his road Daiei Stars uniform of a type that was worn in both 1949 and 1950. It's a clear, sharp image of the big Russian right hander demonstrating his powerful follow through. Blank backed card.

Condition: Corners and borders--Ex/Mt. Well centered. Sharp, clear image. There is a surface wrinkle near the top. Paper loss on the blank back caused by removal from a photo album.
