We have offered a several different Sadaharu Oh and Shigeo Nagashima 3-D lenticular type badges from this set in the past. However, this is the first time we have offered the badge featuring the outstanding pitcher, Kazuhisa Inao. We presume that the Inao badge is seen less often because it was produced in smaller quantity than the Oh and Nagashima badges, but we are not certain.

On the back, above the pin, the Japanese text reads, Morinaga Bikkuri (Surprise) Badge. Under the pin is the notation, Morinaga Parade Chocolate. Wonder View Corporation is printed in small type at the very bottom.

Kazuhisa Inao was dubbed Iron Arm in 1958 after pitching in all of the Lions' final nine games of the regular season, and then in six of seven Japan Series games, winning four. In 1959 and 1961, Inao pitched over 400 innings each year! He pitched over 370 innings in three other seasons as well. He started and relieved with equal effectiveness, winning over 30 games four times, including a 42 win season in 1961.

Size: 2 3/8" in diameter.

Condition: Rust along the rim and some chipping at the edges on the reverse.
