A nobori is a Japanese banner. It is a long, narrow flag, attached to a pole with a cross-rod to hold the fabric straight out and prevent it from furling around the rod. In this way, the field is always visible and identifiable. Nobori are seen on streets throughout Japan and are used primarily for advertising purposes.

Ichiro Suzuki was a spokesman for the Nissan Co. from 1995-1999. During that time, several different Ichiro nobori were used to promote NIssan cars This banner relates to airbags. He is asking if there are airbags on the car. Banner #2 (see next lot) answers that question.

Size: 23 1/2" x 70"

Condition: Unused, but has been folded. We think that the nobori were originally delivered to the advertising site in this form.
