We seem to remember that this item was team issued and was marketed as a "beach mat", but it seems a bit thin for that purpose. In any case, it is a lifesize image of the man who will become the first Japanese player to enter the U.S. Baseball Hall of Fame. This decorative plastic sheet captures Japan's greatest export to North American baseball during his heyday in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Ichiro batted .353 during his nine seasons in Japan (1992-2000), by far the highest lifetime average for a player in Japan Pro Baseball. His 4,367 combined hits between JPB and MLB is a world record that could last forever.

Size: 46" x 73"
