Thus far, this extremely large, black & white action shot card is unique to the hobby, as no other examples have surfaced to date. Mr. Tigers, Fumio Fujimura, is seen scoring with an unknown catcher standing by helplessly. Fujimura is wearing a uniform used by the Tigers only for the 1950 and 1951 seasons. This blank backed card was originally a prize winner card attached to a display sheet, as can be seen by the extra paper and glue found along the upper border. Fujimura played for the Osaka Tigers from 1936 to 1958 and is considered to be one of the most beloved players in franchise history.
