It's been quite awhile since we have seen a JCM 56 uncut sheet. The sheet consists of four baseball cards and four cards related to the very popular NHK radio drama Kane No Naruoka (Bell Ringing Hill) which aired from 1947 to 1950. The four baseball players on the sheet are all Japan Hall of Fame members: (top to bottom) Michio Nishizawa, Kaoru Betto, Takehiko Bessho and Tetsuharu Kawakami.

Actually, the "non-sport" cards on the sheet are tangentially related to baseball. The theme song of the Kane No Naruoka radio program was used as entrance music for many high school baseball teams of the era.

Size: Each card is 1 1/2" x 2 5/16". The uncut sheet is 3" x 9 3/8".

Condition: The sheet is cut poorly. The two cards in the top row are missing the top border. The right side is cut diagonally, leaving thin borders for the top two baseball cards. However, the Kawakami and Bessho cards would most likely be Nm/Mt if cut from the sheet.
