We know that this card was originally a first prize premium on a display sheet for one of the early 1950s Marutoku issues, most likely 1951 JBR 25 or 1951 JBR 56, but we have no way of knowing for sure, as we have never seen this card actually attached to a display sheet. This is only the second example that we have encountered.

Atsushi Aramaki (1926-1971) was a fireballing left handed pitcher with the Mainichi Orions. His Japan Pro Baseball career began in 1950 when he was named Rookie of the Year. He died at the young age of 46 and was inducted into the Japanese baseball Hall of Fame in 1985. Blank backed.
