Here we have a truly unusual card. Printed across the top in Japanese is "Pro Baseball Jumbo Bromide". It is truly a jumbo sized card! Actually the card is divided into two parts. The top portion is a portrait of possibly the two greatest pre-Ichiro hitters in Japan Pro Baseball history--Isao Harimoto (left) and Sadaharu Oh (right).

After 17 seasons with the Flyers in the Pacific League, Harimoto joined the Yomiuri Giants in 1976. Both players had begun their pro careers in 1959, with Harimoto earning Rookie of the Year honors, but both were still at the top of their game at the time this card was issued. In 1976, Harimoto batted .355 with 22 homers and 93 RBIs while playing in all 130 contests. Oh hit .325 with 49 home runs and 123 RBIs. Oh went on to set the world career home run mark, belting 868 round trippers. Harimoto became the only Japan Pro Baseball player to collect more than 3,000 hits and 500 homers during his career. The bottom portion of the card depicts Oh in his classic flamingo batting stance.

This is the only baseball card we remember seeing in which the name of the photographer (Jiro Sato) is printed on the card! Blank backed.
