From 1968 to 1974, Gail Hopkins played with the Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals and Los Angeles Dodgers. He was a member of the Dodgers' 1974 National League championship team. He played in over 100 games each season between 1969 and 1971.

Following his U.S. baseball career, from 1975 to 1977, he played for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp and Nankai Hawks in Japan Professional Baseball. In 1975, Gail set a Hiroshima Carp home run record with 33 while helping lead the Carp to its first Central League Championship and a trip to the Japan Series. In 1976, he was named to the Central League All Star Team, and batted .329 during the regular season. In 1977, he played for the Nankai Hawks of the Pacific League, before retiring from professional baseball to pursue a full-time career in medicine, ultimately becoming a board certified orthopedic surgeon. These cards are among the several issued of Hopkins during his tenure in Japan. The back of all cards feature Carp manager and Japan Hall of Fame member, Takeshi Koba.

Size: Each card is 2 7/32" x 3 13/32".

Condition: All three cards are Mint as issued, straight from a previously unopened deck.
