This rare card has been assigned a scarcity factor of R5 in the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 2.1 by Gary Engel, because only three examples are known to the hobby. Shigeo Nagashima's autograph graces the otherwise pure card front. The back contains a detailed roster of the 1964 Yomiuri Giants including each player's height, weight, school, home town, etc., etc. printed in Japanese. There are two cards in this set. The other features Sadaharu Oh, and was sold in our May 2013 Auction 43. As far as is known, no collector has both the Oh and Nagashima cards in his/her collection at this time.
