Cards in the JCM 14b set were not distributed evenly. There are four different Sadaharu Oh rookie cards in the set. For some reason, there are fewer examples of this card compared to the other three, and previous prices realized in our auctions and sales over the years reflect this discrepancy. In fact, this is only the third example of this card that we have ever offered at auction. This card was cut from an uncut sheet by a collector, most likely back in 1959, given the card's general appearance. It is also missing the upper right corner. Nevertheless, it is a card that is absent from many of the most complete Oh rookie card collections.
