The JF 66 set has a scarcity factor of R5 in the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 2.1, indicating that five or fewer copies of each card in the set are known in the hobby. However, this set is even scarcer. One of the cards in this lot was not previously known to the hobby! No more than three or four examples exist of the others. The five Yomiuri Giants players included in this lot are (top row, left to right) Kazuo Higasa, Mitsuo Uno (card at right) Noboru Aota (HOF) (bottom row, left to right) Masanori Iritani, Yasuo Kusunoki (unchecklisted). Cards from this thin stock set are quite difficult to find, as many of them were redeemed for prizes. Many collectors rate the head-in-baseball motif to be Kobai Caramel's best design.
