JCM 168 is the only baseball card set known which contains a card depicting Japan Hall of Fame member Shinjiro Iguchi. At present, there are only two copies of this card known in the hobby. Iguchi became famous when, while playing shortstop and pitching, he captained the Wakayama Middle School to the National High School Baseball Championship at Koshien in both 1921 and 1922. Next, he entered Waseda University, where he batted cleanup and led the team to league titles in 1925 and 1927. He then retired as an active baseball player, taking a job with the Osaka Mainichi Shimbun (newspaper) and ultimately became a director of various Japanese baseball federations. He was elected posthumously to the Hall of Fame in 1998.

By 1929, at the time the JCM 168 set was produced, Iguchi had not played for Waseda for two years, despite the fact that he is described as "Waseda U. Iguchi" in Japanese on the card front. Because of his great popularity as a player during the 1920s, he was the only retired player included in the set. If you are collecting a Japan Hall of Fame members type set, this is a rare chance for you to fill a big hole in your collection.
