This card was part of a 48 card set originally issued by King Magazine in 12 different four card panels as a furoku (bonus item). Offered here is a single card from a four card panel which features Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig at a rodeo
during a barnstorming tour, with Ruth waving his hat to the crowd. The two played against each other on separate teams, called the "Bustin Babe's" and "Larrupin Lou's". Although this famous image was taken in 1928, the card was actually
produced in 1929. Of the eight examples graded by SGC, this is the only card at the SGC 4 level with only one higher. Please note that the card was cut from the panel in such a way that the dotted lines at left and top borders are still
present. A number of JBR 67 Ruth/Gehrig cards have been hand cut inside these lines to produce a card that does not measure up properly. As you can see, there is no problem here!
