JBR 109 has been assigned the scarcity factor of R5 in the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 2.1 by Gary Engel, indicating that five or fewer copies of this card exist in the hobby. Fujimura played for the Osaka Tigers from 1936 to 1958 and was known as Mr. Tigers. Go, a Taiwanese player known as the Human Locomotive, usually played the outfield and was league MVP in 1943. However, in 1946, as a pitcher, he threw Japan Pro Baseball's first postwar no hitter! We removed this card from a previously unopened hanging bundle (taba) last year. Blank backed.

Size: 1 3/4" x 2 5/8"

Condition: Chipping at top border as a result of the manufacturer's hand cut. Otherwise perfect.
