This semi-hardbound book is jam-packed with information and photos. There were two U.S. Tours of Japan in 1953 (Lopat All Stars and N.Y. Giants). Both are covered in detail including box scores and numerous photos. Also, there is extensive coverage of the 1953 Yomiuri Giants Tour of the U.S. Believe it or not, there is a write-up, line score and often the box score for every Yomiuri Giants game played from 1934 to 1953 including exhibitions! There is even complete game-by-game information for the 1935 Yomiuri Giants Tour of the U.S. The book contains similar information regarding the Babe Ruth/Lou Gehrig led 1934 U.S. Tour of Japan. To cap it off, there is every statistic and box score imaginable from 1953--pro, college, high school and U.S. major leagues seasons. Is that Stan Musial on the cover?
