The 14th edition of the Japan High School Baseball Tournament at Koshien was played from August 12 to August 22, 1928. It was won by Matsumoto Commercial School, featuring their strong battery of Haruyasu Nakajima (HOF) and Tamotsu Momose. All five of these photos were taken by Mitsuhiko Fujita of the Sotheby's Fujita Collection fame. It is believed that all of them were taken at the 1928 Tournament. Included is a photo of the Matsumoto team, along with others of Fukuoka Middle School (1926 tournament winners), Dalian, Keijo and Kasho.

Condition: All photos except for Fukuoka are Ex/Mt to Nm with extra glue and paper remnants due to previous mounting in an album by Mr. Fujita. The Fukuoka photo is missing the upper left corner.
