Very few examples of JBR 30 cards have surfaced over the past two decades. This is the first time in our 30 years of buying and selling Japanese baseball cards that we have been able to offer the JBR 30 Wally Yonamine. After his groundbreaking, decade long career with the Yomiuri Giants, the American who changed Japanese baseball forever, finished out his career with the Chunichi Dragons in 1961 and 1962. Yonamine played in only 17 games in his final season. 12 years later, he returned to manage the Dragons for six seasons, propelling them to the Central League title in 1974. This card appears at first glance to be Ex/Mt to Nm, but upon closer inspection, a number of tiny indentations are seen. Blank backed.
